RE: Holmewood Homezone final design
Lambeth have now completed consultation
on this project and are now now in a position to move forward to
the construction of the Holmewood Homezone scheme. We have incorporated changes
initiated as a result of feedback provided by local residents at a series of
meetings with the representative residents group. Several areas have been
addressed and we are confident that the proposed works will now gain widespread
approval from residents.
The amended plans will now be made available to residents for viewing. The plans can be viewed on the noticeboard in the Holmewood Gardens, online at the Homezone website (www.holmewood.org.uk), at Lambeth Transport and Highways Offices, 2nd Floor Blue Star House, 234 Stockwell Road (please phone Cameron Martyn on 020 7926 0182 to arrange viewing). Alternatively the six area representatives also have a copy of the final design, please see reverse for further details of the representative for your area.
Works are scheduled to begin on-site in
the New Year and must be completed by March 2004 to ensure current levels of
funding can be maintained. Although there will be aspects of a Homezone that
have not been included within this phase of the scheme we will continue to work
with partner organisations to secure funding for future improvements.
