Home Zone
It's time for action!

A message from Coundillor Steve Reed

The Holmewood Gardens Home Zone is finally being put in place. But it's years late, work is slow, and it's not living up to expectations. Local residents are up in arms as poor design has led to flooding, and poor management by the Council has resulted in shoddy workmanship.

We must force the Council to clean up its act. I am going to join residents walking round the scheme to find out what's going wrong. We will compile a dossier of all the problems that I will present to the Director of Environmental Services. I will then demand that he gives residents an action plan to explain how and when all the problems will, be dealt with.

Please join me on a walk-about of the Home Zone scheme.
11:00am Sunday 19th September 2004
Meet up outside 68 Holmewood Gardens

The problems have gone on for too long. If enough of us make a noise and demand action now we can force the Council to sort the Home Zone out once and for all. I hope you can join us next Sunday, but if not - please write, phone or email me your concerns so I can take them up with Council officers.
